This is by far the most classic Mercedes-Benz ever to have hit the streets. I haven’t spoken to a single car enthusiast that’s not 100% in love with this car — and rightfully so! It’s ingenious fuel injection system, its trademark doors, its Le Mans win… They all make this car a true classic in automotive history.

This video report from the 2008 Geneva Motor Show about the 2009 Mercedes SL (a facelift version, which doesn’t change too much to the previous model if you ask me) shows a little too much of the show host and way too little of the SL, but still, what they show looks good.

The SL isn’t as glamorous as its original 1954 grandfather — but still quite awesome!
